PLANT ART WORKSHOPS
The workshop is designed to provide beginners, and those with limited knowledge, with everything they need to know to start and maintain an indoor or patio garden.
Covering the basics of indoor plant care including water, sunlight, feeding, pests, preparation and soil, as well as learning about common errors and the best varieties to begin your plant journey. Deidre will also share her tips on how to hunt down plants cheaply.In the interactive workshop you’ll learn how to repot and propagate plants. You'll also get to take home a variety of cuttings home with you. Learning how to propagate is a highly useful tool for gardeners to build their plant collection on a budget. With the water propagation method, you can enjoy your plants as they grow.
As part of the session, Deidre welcomes participants to bring in their plants and photos to help troubleshoot any existing plant problems.

KOKEDAMA BALL WORKSHOP
You will learn all about the history of the kokedama plant ball practice, design, soil, binding, you’ll make two kokedama plant balls of your own to take home, and your teacher will also coach you with some of the Plant Doctor’s tips for keeping indoor plants alive, so that you can care for your kokedama plant balls with confidence.
All our workshops are first-timer friendly, people of all skill levels and ages are welcome . All materials and plants are provided, and we will have some refreshing drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic)
